Testori (Darletto)
Darletto, the subsidiary that makes thermostable jams for a Naberezhnye Chelny wafer and biscuit maker, lifted its revenue about fourfold in 2025. In 2017 Darletto's then general director said on record that Testori bought its jam abroad. Its parent, OOO Testori, filed 2025 revenue about 7.7 times its 2015 level, in nominal rubles.
Made in Chelny: the first workshop and the jam plant
From buying jam abroad to Darletto's revenue rising about fourfold
In December 2017 Irina Khasanshina, then general director of Darletto (Дарлетто), told BUSINESS Online why a wafer and biscuit maker from Naberezhnye Chelny had set out to make its own jam. Russian-made jam, she said, satisfied the company in neither quality nor supply volume: “Right now we buy it abroad for our own needs.”
Wafers, brioche and a summer motto
Testori (Тестори) began with a workshop on Profilnaya Street in Naberezhnye Chelny, built and commissioned in 2006, according to the company’s own history. The company dates its founding to 2007, when it set out to industrialise home-style baking with a brioche stick. A soft-wafer line followed in 2010. In 2011 the company introduced Darletto as a brand, with a mission its website states in a single phrase: “to give summer to our customers.” Dutch waffles joined the range in 2013.
Four legal entities have carried the brand; one of them, OOO KF Testori, was struck off the register on 23 June 2025. The operating company, OOO Testori, was registered in Kazan on 13 March 2015, and Denis Vaskov has been its general director since that day, registry records show. Its filed accounts put 2015 revenue at ₽601.8m; by 2017 the figure was ₽1,707.3m. Production stayed in Naberezhnye Chelny, at the Profilnaya Street workshop that still makes Testori’s wafers and brioche.
A jam problem, stated on record
Khasanshina’s account to BUSINESS Online was direct. “Companies that can supply it not in small tubs but on an industrial scale for confectionery producers can be counted on the fingers of one hand across the whole country,” she said. Later in the same account she added, of the project: “To get away from the imported component, we conceived this project.”
The project was a thermostable-jam plant. In the same December 2017 announcement Darletto became a resident of TOSER, Naberezhnye Chelny’s advanced socio-economic development zone, with a jam project announced at ~₽369m. BUSINESS Online, citing Eldar Timergaliev, named it as one of four new residents, with ~₽5bn of investment announced across the four together.
On 8 August 2018, registry records show OOO Testori becoming the 100% owner of OOO Darletto, in place of the founders’ direct stakes. The same three owners stood at the top of the structure.
From announcement to plant
The plant took longer than planned. OOO Testori’s filed accounts show revenue falling 15.4% in 2018, to ₽1,444.5m, and holding at ₽1,461.2m in 2019. Net profit was ₽7.6m and ₽9.6m in those two years, net margins of 0.53% and 0.66%. A plant launch planned for early 2019 was not achieved, Chelny-biz later reported. Tatarstan’s construction-supervision authority records a construction permit in May 2020, when building began on the Khlebny proezd site.
The parent’s sales grew through the construction years. In 2020, by the company’s own account, it replaced palm oil with high-oleic sunflower oil and added a wafer-biscuit line; filed revenue reached ₽1,810.5m that year, ₽2,191.5m in 2021, when the Darletto range was rebranded, and ₽3,279.9m in 2022. On 7 December 2023 Chelny-biz reported, citing Mayor Nail Magdeev, that the Darletto plant was in commissioning, six years after the residency announcement.
What the plant makes
The plant at Khlebny proezd 20 covers 16,500 square metres, according to the contractor Astron Buildings and Tatarstan’s construction-supervision authority, and the regulator gives its capacity as 40,000 tonnes a year. It makes thermostable jams for the group’s fillings, alongside fillings and biscuits.
The workforce shows how quickly it filled. Registry data list 22 staff at OOO Darletto in 2021, 137 in 2024 and 267 in 2025. Tatar-inform reported 238 people working on site in August 2024, against a target of 300.
Revenue followed the headcount. OOO Darletto’s revenue was ₽383.9m in 2024, the year after commissioning, with a net profit of ₽40.6m, and ₽1,641.2m ($19M USD) in 2025, about four times as much, according to Vesti KAMAZa, the registry and Chelny-biz. The parent’s figures are reported separately: OOO Testori booked ₽4,650.7m ($54M USD) in 2025 against ₽4,076.8m in 2024, according to its filed accounts, which in nominal rubles is about 7.7 times its 2015 revenue. Each figure covers a single legal entity.
The owners and the managers
Three co-founders own OOO Testori, as reported in 2017 and again in 2026: Denis Vaskov holds 41%, Ramil Minnikhanov 40% and Marat Ziyatdinov 19%. The three are also named as founders of OOO KF ViM, the predecessor company registered in 2006, which now holds property, and Vaskov earlier headed KF Testori, a property-rental company in the group. Through OOO Testori, the three have held Darletto since 2018. Registry records list Aleksandr Vaskov, Denis Vaskov’s brother according to Vesti KAMAZa, as general director of OOO Darletto since 29 May 2024.
In March 2026 Vesti KAMAZa, citing the press service of the Naberezhnye Chelny executive committee after a visit by Mayor Magdeev, reported that Darletto was designing a second phase of production, for wafer biscuits. The paper put the owners’ cumulative investment in Darletto, including the existing site, at ~₽1.7bn ($20M USD) as of March 2026. Eight years after Khasanshina described a project to get away from the imported component, the subsidiary that now runs the jam plant is planning a second phase of its own.
